Senior Construction Manager - Salary Negotiable
Our clients are leading homebuilders in the UK and urgently require:
Responsibilities:
Manage the site production team to achieve the project objectives, and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation, and within budget
Ensuring that suppliers* subcontractors’ works are coordinated, produced in accordance with the drawings and specifications without defects, and in accordance with the Project Program.
Managing the impact of the works on neighboring residents, industry and the highways
Assess, approve and where appropriate, write method and risk statements
Management of site logistics and traffic management
Liaise with 3rd parties including Neighbors, Building Control Officer, Local Authority Highways, Environmental Health, Environment Agency, Statutory Authorities, and Clerk of Works* Resident Engineer* Client Project Manager
Anticipate and resolve technical ambiguities* problems, and report as required.
Understand the financial implications of the methods and sequences of construction that are proposed and planned, and file reports regularly
Co-ordinate the various system procedures, and proactively seek out problems and devise effective resolution to ensure construction progress is not at risk
Ensuring good lines of communication within and outside the construction team
Managing financial aspects of the construction works
